Shelley Hossenlopp

Shelley is a point-of-care diagnostic technology expert and Executive with 33 years of global and domestic laboratory and medical device commercialization: sales, distribution, marketing, business development, funding, product management, clinical trials, regulatory, manufacturing and Intellectual Property strategy planning. She is an inventor with two patents as co-inventor with US Army. Advanced experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD) and other US and foreign government, Ministries of Health (MOH) and non-government agencies (NGO's) and Fortune 100, 500 firms.

Brittany De Soto Palmer, MPH

Brittany is a growth strategist with expertise in women's health.  She is an active startup advisor and has fifteen years of experience in healthcare where she has taken on roles of increasing scope in patient care at CVS Health, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.  Her experience spans growth strategy, health service design, product development and incubation, business development, and healthcare operations. Brittany holds a MPH from Columbia University and a BA from Boston College.


Greg Martin, PhD

Greg is an executive, entrepreneur, engineer and scientist with over 25 years’ experience taking medical technologies from concept to bedside to commercialization in academic, start-up and corporate environments. He has held leadership roles in multiple medical device companies ranging from start-ups to publicly-traded corporations including Hologic Inc., Hemedex Inc. and Cytec. Greg has a track record of success in executive management, team building, R&D, change/crisis management, product development, product launch, operations, clinical research, regulatory affairs, business development, manufacturing and marketing.

Cyndi Baily, JD

Cyndi is an attorney and compliance professional with extensive experience and expertise across diverse legal fields including, health care and life sciences, corporate compliance, data privacy and information security, general commercial and contract law and contract management, employment law, federal and state contracts, non-profit and tax exemption, securities law and corporate governance, licensing and technology transfer, dispute resolution, negotiation and litigation management.  Cyndi has served as part of the C-level suite in three large businesses; and worked with boards comprised of experienced business leaders throughout the US and the world.

Michael Putnam, MBA, MPA

Mike is an active startup investor and advisor, with fifteen years of experience in consumer mobile and eCommerce companies. He most recently led consumer marketing for Amwell, a leader in telehealth that delivered six million online doctor visits in 2020 and went public with a $100M co-investment from Google. Previously he led mobile product for TripAdvisor and Rue La La. Mike holds a BS from Stanford, an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School.

Roy Birnbaum, JD
Roy is a senior commercial and corporate lawyer with more than 35 years of global and general practice experience, particularly in pharmaceuticals and emerging markets, including a wide variety of corporate, transactional and compliance matters, as well as supporting access initiatives for low income markets, various corporate CSR initiatives and managing internal pro bono programs for ex US lawyers and legal staff. He retired in December 2017 from Merck & Co., Inc. as Counsel, International Legal and Compliance, and previously had similar positions with Pfizer, Inc. and Pharmacia Corporation and its predecessors. Roy holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Brandeis University.  Over the course of nearly a decade, Roy developed the framework for all of Maternova's distribution and supply agreements as well as the legal documents for intellectual property acquisition.
