Laerdal
Laerdal's NeoNatalie Suction device is a silicone therapy product that is used for nasal or oral suction on newborns to clear blockages. The NeoNatalie Suction is a part of the NeoNatalie tool that was developed to train birth attendants in developing countries in neonatal resuscitation. The NeoNatalie can be bought as part of the NeoNatalie tool, which includes an infant doll, the NeoNatalie Resuscitator, and a training stethoscope to allow simulation of after-birth care. Both the suction and resuscitator can also be bought separately and used on real infants. The unibody silicone of the NeoNatalie Suction allows it to be boiled and easily emptied and cleaned. Laerdal is providing the NeoNatalie Suction and NeoNatalie Resuscitation device on a non-for-profit basis to many countries through 2015. An order form and complete list of countries where NeoNatalie is available can be found on Laerdal's website.
