Our unique textile innovation is a novel way to repel insects using an embedded biorepellent. The textile repels the mosquito (and the tick) after 80 washings.
Extensive lab and arm-in-cage tests validate the technology against the Aedes and the Culex mosquito. Vector-borne illness carried by these insects includes Zika, chikungunya, malaria and dengue.
The textile can be exported and sold as bolts of textile so that apparel for school uniforms, health worker uniforms or infant blankets and children's clothing can be made in locally acceptable styles.
The bolts of textile are priced based upon the type and quality of textile and the number of bolts of textile ordered.
The technology has been tested in Europe, India, El Salvador, Uganda and Ethiopia.
