Maternal anemia is an underlying cause of post partum hemorrhage, and also complicates treatment for PPH. PATH has developed a one page job aid for health workers who are treating with women with PPH. The aid allows health workers to make better informed decisions about referral and treatment of women with PPH by taking into account maternal anemia's effects. It integrates with the commonly used visual estimation of blood loss, and guidelines for measuring blood loss.
