The device has straps which can be used to secure the infant, making it particularly well suited for use in emergency vehicles such as ambulances. The incubator has a foldable stand. It can be battery operated. It contains a lamp to allow the health care provider to observe the newborn. It can accept an oxygen cylinder of up to five liters.
