Masimo Pronto™ is a medical device used non invasively to measure total hemoglobin (SpHb) levels. An alternative to needle sticking, a finger probe provides a spot check for pulse rate, hemoglobin, and oxygen saturation. The results are displayed immediately without the need of costly and time-consuming lab work. The handheld device is battery powered and has indicators that show pulse rate, test progress and signal quality. The finger probe is capable of providing 200 hemoglobin measurements per sensor. Not only is it fast and cost effective, the Masimo Pronto™ has been proven to be more accurate than traditional invasive methods.
