This pocket-sized ultrasound by GE is being called 'the stethoscope of the 21st century.' The miniaturized device produces images on a phone-sized platform and wirelessly transmits data. A quick scan can reveal whether a baby is in breach position. GE will test the vScan in 12 leading clinical sites throughout the world and eventually create a structural protocol for Vscan exams.
At the moment it is priced at about £5,000 in UK (a price well below that of an ultrasound) and is available in Canada and India as well. Contact GE for a price.
