In the summer of 2009 Endurox joined in the operations of East Meets West Foundation and their suite of successful newborn technologies
The EnduroxTM pulse oximeter was developed by the EconoMEDics Inc company in Palo Alto, California. The device is handheld. It can be used to measure the level of oxygen saturation in both newborns and adults. It performs well in rugged environments, and it can generate electricity internally when shaken by the user. The device costs about 300 USD.
