Francisco Lindoro's Childbirth Assistant is a set of basic birthing equipment that can be used for safe childbirth outside of hospitals. It includes sterile hospital gowns and gloves, a birthing mat, scissors, umbilical cord clamp, forceps, sutures, and a sling to carry the baby after birth. All of the equipment is kept in a sterilized container. The Childbirth Assistant can be used by a single person and has a non-threatening look, ensuring the patient feels safe and relaxed. It also comes with step-by-step directions for use. This is a design project that does not yet have any commericialization plan.
