The BR!GHT BELL Solar Lamp and Mobile Charger is an elegant solution to two of the most important job aids for frontline healthcare workers: light and connectivity. The lamp has a nine foot long cable which allows the lamp to be inside while the solar cell is charging outside. The lamp uses "3xAA rechargeable NImH batteries [which] need 7-8 hours of good sunlight to be fully charged. The dimmer switch lets you choose between 3 levels of LED light intensity/working hours. At the minimum level (20 lumen) the lamp gives a good reading light for up to 50 hours. At the maximum level (110 lumen) the light last for 3-4 hours."
